President Trump and congressional leaders have publicly stated their desire to work together on infrastructure legislation. House and Senate committees are holding hearings on the nation’s transportation needs. And planning for the reauthorization of the FAST Act is already underway. Addressing the Highway Trust Fund’s pending shortfall remains a top AGC priority and should be part of the infrastructure package. The construction industry’s input is needed to help push legislation that provides a strong foundation for addressing the Nation’s growing infrastructure needs.
